Hunter's cast

We went to the orthopedic doctor today, and Hunter received his first cast (hopefully the last). He should only have to wear it for 3-6 weeks. We go back for a check up in 3 weeks, and if he is moving around on it good then they will go ahead and take it off. Atleast he will get to finally go to preschool Friday. Here is a picture of him modeling his orange cast. He has on the life jacket trying to convince me that it will be ok to go to the lake this weekend. While the cast is waterproof, the doctor assured me that it would smell bad if he went swimming in the lake.

oh the luck.......where is it

We have no luck in this family so this is really no surprise. Hunter's foot is fractured, we go see an orthopedic doctor Wednesday morning. Hunter will yet again miss preschool :(.

First day of Kindergarten Prep

Well the first day of preschool is almost over now, and Hunter was not in attendance. Last night he decided to do cannonballs off the couch. I guess I jinxed us after the first one by saying "no more, tomorrow is the first day of preschool and we don't need any broken bones." I turned my head and he did it again only falling straight to the floor after the jump, he landed wrong on his foot and now will not walk on it. Is this possibly Hunter's second broken bone, I hope not, we have an appt later to have it looked at.

My second bike "Wild Hog"

Saturday we finally bought Hunter a new bike. The first one was run over last year by Danny. We took him to toysrus so that he could pick out what he wanted, this is what he came up with. He has nicknamed it "Wild Hog".

Hunter's first slumber party

Hunter hosted his first slumber party Friday night, I must say that it was a lot of fun. We had a bouncy hoping that it would make them really tired and everyone would crash early. Not the case. It was a night filled with bouncing, green sand (which makes you look like the incredible
hulk once covered in it), and lots of dinosaurs (we watched jurassic park 3 times). I did contemplate having 2 four year olds and a 3 year old for the evening, but everything went very good. I did go into the living room at about 12:30, Taylor and Hunter were asleep, but Griffin was still laying there watching dinosaurs.............I thought he would be the first one asleep.

Look at me!

9 month check up

Today was Brayden's 9 month check up. He weighed in at 19 pounds 12 ounces and is 28 1/2 inches long (50th percentile for height and weight, such a change from Hunter who was always in the 90th percentile). He got 2 shots and Hunter held his hand, it may have actually helped since he only cried for about 10 seconds. It's hard to believe that he is already 9 months old..........where has the time gone.

Hunter finally passed out on the way home he stayed awake for the first 8 hours.

Vacation

The trip was wonderful, I was kind of worried of the drive, but surprisingly it was ok. We stopped halfway on the way down, and drove straight through on the way back. We only had to stop 5 times on the way back for potty breaks, food, and gas. Brayden did very good as he almost the entire way home, then was wide awake when we got home which was 10 pm, but after a couple of hours crashed for the rest of the night. The trip was very relaxing, eventhough we were only gone for 4 1/2 days. We plan on making gulf shores our family trip every year.

Finally

I have finally started a page after much harrassment from my sister, although I must say that I think this will be much better then facebook. We leave for Gulf Shores tomorrow, so I will post about that later. In the meantime, here are some random pictures of the family.

Hunter looking sweet and innocent (demon in disguise). Danny got to meet his deer hunting hero Bobby Worthington.
