Poker Run 2009

I'm a little behind on posts so everything is from a couple of weeks ago. There was a poker run this year at the marina where Danny's parents have their houseboat, so they decided to participate in it. They didn't win (it is all luck, it has nothing to do with how fast you go), but they had a lot of fun. Since Brayden didn't do so well when we took him on the houseboat memorial weekend, me and the kids did not attend. Danny had contemplated taking Hunter with him, but we decided against cause I know that Hunter would have wanted to be on the gladiator with Daddy, but I know he would have liked seeing all the powerboats. So here are a few pictures that Danny's mom sent me.

$15 fun

Eventhough we have a bigger pool, this one gets more use when it is just me with the kids. Brayden doesn't like being in a floatie in the big pool so trying to manage both of them gets a little hectic since Hunter can't quite touch the bottom yet, but he is getting closer, and he always wants you to throw him around. So the weekend that Danny went to the poker run at Lake Cumberland we went and purchased a little pool. It has gotten so much use, my children are fish and are happiest when they are playing in the water.

It even gets used when there is no water in it.

Riding in the Jeep

I'm not for sure if Brayden didn't trust his brother's driving or if the sound of the powerwheels scared him, but he would never get in and ride. He has now overcome his fear and they look so cute riding together. Now when they go outside Brayden will drag Hunter over to the shed to get the jeep out.

Poor Bo he puts up with so much from the kids, but he loves it.

Wolverine/Zoo

The sunday before the great train derailment we visited the zoo to see wolverine. Taylor had stayed with us the night before so she somehow ended up going with us. The kids had a blast and it was a nice day.
